Meet Recap

36 teams competed in the toughest tournament in Southwest Ohio. Colerain’s senior Albert placed 8th in the 195 pound weight class.

Albert won his first match of the tournament in a decisive 8-2 victory before losing to a state placer from last season.

During the second day of competition Albert won his first match securing his spot on the podium. He then faced two formidable foes dropping the next two.

The varsity crew received a shock showing them of what the individual competition looks like in the Southwest District. The Cards will look to bounce back heading up-state to compete in the Marion Harding Invitational hoping to improve on the finish from last season.
