Meet Recap

The Lady Cardinals (12-5, 6-3, T-3rd Place) finished their regular season with a prolific win over the Lady Vikes (11-6, 6-3, T-3rd Place) by 486 pins! WOW!!!

The Cardinals were led by Erin Tragesser (’17) who seems to be rounding back into form after some injury concerns earlier in the year. She rolled a 371 series and was backed by the Junior Class tandem of Brooklyn Johnson and Sydney Woods who each bowled a 343 series to help secure the win.

Erin led the way as Seniors are expected to do by finishing 1st on the team and 6th in the GMC in average (182.1) and also securing a tie for the highest game by a Cardinal this year with Brooklyn Johnson at 223 pins, and finally securing the highest series (441) for a Cardinal and 4th highest in the GMC. All that more impressive knowing she was limited to 28 games this year.

The Lady Cards now head to the post-season where they will battle it out on their home lanes next Wednesday February 22 starting at 9AM. They will be tested as GMC Champion Fairfield (17-1, 9-0) and GCL 2nd Place finisher Seton (17-5) will both be in attendance competing for the rights to move on to districts.

Best of luck to our Lady Cards and Congratulations on a FANTASTIC 206/17 season!
