Meet Recap

The Boys Bowling team qualified for the District tournament for the 4th year in a row after finishing 3rd out of 18 teams at the Sectional tournament on Feb. 23, 2017 at Colerain Bowl.

Colerain was led by Junior Darius Butler who delivered a 625 series to lead the team and also finished 10th in a field of 103 bowlers! But Bowling is the consummate team game and Varsity squad stepped up.

Seniors Brandon Nuttle and Bradley McNickle backed up Darius with 3-game sets of 585 and 557, respectively. Junior AJ Lawwill (427) and Sophomore Ryan Medellin (365) rounded out the teams scoring with solid 2-game contributions.

Next up for Coaches Potzner and Evans is the District tournament next Wednesday, March 1 at Beaver-VU Lanes in Beavercreek, Ohio where the competition takes a decided step up in difficulty.

Best of luck next week and congratulations on the accomplishments so far!
