The girls basketball team suffered a loss on the road in GMC play tonight at Lakota East by the final score of 61-36.

The Lady Cards only trailed by 3 points at half, but could only muster 13 second half points while the Thunderhawks put up 35. Colerain struggled taking care of the ball committing 30 turnovers to East’s 18. However, Colerain had another strong performance on the glass pulling down 30 rebounds.

The leading scorer for Colerain was Sophomore Jessica Toepfert with 11 points on the strength of 3 3-point FG. Fellow Sophomore #13 Taiah Pewett lee the team with 8 rebounds.

The Lady Cards next game is on the road at 2:00 in Mason vs the 3-1 Comets.
