Swimming Competes at Sectional Meet

This weekend the Cardinals Swim Team participated in the Southwest District Division I Sectional Swimming Tournament.  The tournament features competition at 5 different sites. The Cardinals Swim Team competed in the Greater Miami Conference Swimming Championships this Saturday at Mason High School. Lauren Clippard came away as the GMC Champion in the 100yd backstroke and also took 2nd place in the 200yd freestyle. This weekend Colerain swimmers will compete at the Miami University site for the Southwest Ohio Swimming and Diving Classic.  This meet features over 2800 swimmers from 9 prelim sites throughout Southwest Ohio, making it the largest High School meet in the United States. The top 16 swimmers from all the sites qualify to compete in

  Colerain swim team competed at the Southwest District Classic over the weekend of Jan 15-17.This is the largest high school meet in the nation. Swimmers compete at 1 of 9 different sites for prelims and then the top 16 swimmers swim at finals in the evening. Kerry Tepe and Hailee Trotter both advanced to finals and represented Colerain well.
